Old Town Music Hall is a treasured cultural landmark located in El Segundo, California.

Since 1968, Old Town Music Hall has been showing classic films and presenting live concerts by some of the world's finest performers of jazz, ragtime, and popular music from the past.

Silent films are accompanied by the Mighty Wurlitzer, a massive 1925 wind-powered pipe organ that has been meticulously preserved so that silent classics can be experienced with live musical accompaniment, just as they did when they were first shown. It's something you really have to see and hear to believe.

Old Town Music Hall is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your generous support enables us to preserve the golden era of feature film and music. We look forward to seeing you.

Angie Hougen
Executive Director and CFO

Angie Hougen was a longtime patron of Old Town Music Hall before joining as a volunteer. When not at the theatre, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, and attending live music events—often more than a hundred per year.
James Moll
President and CEO

James Moll first stepped into Old Town Music Hall at age eleven, brought by his mother and stepfather—who had met at the theatre. Founders Bill Coffman and Bill Field often invited him on stage to play ragtime piano before movies. As a teenager, he waited tables at the theatre’s restaurant next door, W.C. Field’s Café, whose neon sign now hangs in the theatre’s snack bar. Thanks to an introduction Bill Coffman made between James and the head of USC Film School, James pursued a film degree and built a career as a documentary filmmaker, earning him an Oscar, two Emmys, and a Grammy. He is also the Founding Executive Director of the USC Shoah Foundation, which he established for Steven Spielberg.
Danny Tokusato
Corporate Secretary

Danny Tokusato was introduced to Old Town Music Hall in 2000 after meeting co-founder Bill Field. Over the years, he played a key role in transitioning the theater into the digital age and refreshing its interior while preserving its signature charm and magic. As a volunteer, he worked the snack bar, ran the projector, and often accompanied Bill on excursions to Hollywood in search of film prints. For many years, he helped manage the theater’s administrative work from their home in Los Angeles. Danny is honored to help carry forward the legacy of Bill Field, his loving partner of 20 years. As a data scientist, currently at Honda Motor, Inc., Danny maintains the theater’s vast, growing mailing list. Danny is also proud to be an educator, teaching psychology and statistics at both university and junior college levels.
