One of the best movies ever made. The first half hour itself is worth the price of admission, with some of the funniest scenes you’ll ever see in a movie. The Gold Rush is still funny after ninety years, with a blend of humor and poignancy that made Charlie Chaplin one of the greatest comedians of all time.  

NOTE: The film will be played along with the pre-recorded musical soundtrack composed by Charlie Chaplin himself -- it will not be accompanied live.

In this final screen pairing of Astaire and Rogers, the iconic duo is in rare form playing a team of musical comedy performers with lots of witty banter and (naturally) lots of incredible dancing. The film features music and lyrics by Ira Gershwin and Harry Warren, and includes Oscar Levant as Tchaikovsky.
